YourResumeHelper is owned and operated by InfoTech Innovators LLC. In this Privacy Notice, “YourResumeHelper,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to InfoTech Innovators LLC and the YourResumeHelper service, as applicable. This notice explains how information is collected, used, disclosed, protected, and retained when you use JobCheck or Resume Optimizer.
1. Information We Collect
JobCheck may process the job posting, posting URL, source, employer information, recruiter or contact information, recruiter messages, generated assessment and report information, temporary session identifiers, payment and transaction identifiers, IP address, and operational or security information you provide or generate through use. Resume Optimizer may process the job description, pasted or uploaded resume, extracted resume text, analysis information, generated optimized resume, temporary visitor and analysis identifiers, payment and transaction identifiers, IP address, and operational or security information. Supported resume uploads are PDF and DOCX files. Please avoid including sensitive information that is unnecessary for the requested analysis.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: • Provide JobCheck previews and Complete JobCheck Reports • Analyze and generate Resume Optimizer results • Enforce free-use limits and prevent abuse • Process, verify, fulfill, reconcile, and support payments • Maintain security, diagnose problems, and operate and improve the service • Comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes JobCheck's normal production assessment is rules-based and is not sent to an AI provider. Resume Optimizer uses automated processing, including an AI provider, to produce its analysis and optimized resume. Customer content is not used by YourResumeHelper to train models.
3. Service Providers and AI Processing
YourResumeHelper uses service providers where necessary to operate the service. Resume Optimizer sends the supplied job description and resume text to an AI model provider, currently OpenAI, to generate the requested output. JobCheck's normal production analysis is deterministic and does not use that AI generation process. Stripe processes payment-card and checkout information under its own privacy practices. Hosting, infrastructure, and operational providers may process information needed to deliver and secure the service. YourResumeHelper does not sell personal information and does not store full payment-card numbers.
4. Storage and Access
Customer content is stored temporarily so results can be generated, previewed, unlocked after payment, and accessed during the applicable service period. Results are accessed through opaque links or identifiers rather than user accounts. Anyone who obtains an active result link or identifier may be able to access the associated preview or unlocked result, so do not share those links. Payment-return URLs may temporarily contain an analysis or JobCheck identifier and a Stripe Checkout session identifier. JobCheck-to-Optimizer handoff links use a short-lived, single-use token that is removed from the browser URL after exchange. Do not rely on YourResumeHelper as long-term storage; download any paid result you wish to keep.
5. Retention and Cleanup
JobCheck sessions normally expire approximately seven days after creation. Automated cleanup removes the submitted posting, URL, recruiter/contact details, messages, and detailed report content after expiration. A limited assessment summary, scores, payment status, transaction identifiers, and operational timestamps may remain for transaction, dispute, security, and recordkeeping purposes. Cleanup normally runs daily, so deletion may occur after the exact expiration time. Resume Optimizer customer content is normally scheduled for deletion or sanitization approximately seven days after analysis creation. Unpaid expired analysis records may be deleted; paid records are sanitized to remove the job description, original resume, generated resume, detailed analysis content, and direct operational identifiers. A recently initiated unresolved Stripe Checkout may delay cleanup briefly so a still-payable transaction is not broken. Limited payment, order, status, and operational records may remain for accounting, fraud prevention, dispute handling, legal compliance, and transaction records. Resume Optimizer visitor identifiers and IP addresses stored on analysis records are removed after approximately 24 hours. Cleanup is automated but may be delayed by service interruption or scheduling. YourResumeHelper does not promise deletion at an exact minute.
6. Analytics, IP Addresses, and Identifiers
YourResumeHelper uses first-party event records—not a third-party advertising analytics pixel—to measure page views, analysis actions, report actions, payment events, and service operation. Event records may include the event type, time, a related session identifier, and a temporarily retained request IP address. IP addresses associated with analytics event records may be processed temporarily for security, abuse prevention, rate limiting, service operation, and related operational purposes. Automated cleanup normally removes or anonymizes the raw IP address after approximately 24 hours while retaining the non-identifying event record. Cleanup may be delayed by service interruption or scheduling, so removal may not occur at an exact minute.
7. Cookies and Browser Storage
Resume Optimizer sets an HTTP-only visitor cookie named vrh_vid with a 30-day browser expiration. It supports the one-free-analysis-per-24-hours limit and abuse prevention. The service also uses request IP addresses for that limit. No advertising cookie or general-purpose customer local-storage identifier was found in the current public product flow. Interface components may set a non-sensitive preference cookie. Browser and server identifiers may also be used temporarily for payment return and JobCheck-to-Optimizer handoff.
8. Payments
Stripe processes payment-card details and Checkout information. YourResumeHelper receives and may retain Checkout session identifiers, payment-intent identifiers, purchase type, amount, currency, payment status, related analysis or JobCheck identifiers, and payment timestamps as needed to provide the paid result and maintain transaction records. YourResumeHelper does not receive or store full payment-card numbers.
9. Disclosure and Sale of Information
YourResumeHelper may disclose information to service providers as necessary to deliver, secure, and support the service; to comply with law or valid legal process; to protect users, the public, or the service; or in connection with a business transfer subject to appropriate protections. YourResumeHelper does not sell customer resumes, job-opportunity content, or personal information.
10. Security
YourResumeHelper uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect information. Access controls limit paid results, sensitive headers are redacted from application logs, and customer content is subject to automated cleanup. However, no internet service can guarantee absolute security, confidentiality, or breach prevention.
11. Your Choices and Responsibilities
You may choose not to provide optional JobCheck details. You should not submit Social Security numbers, financial-account credentials, passwords, identity documents, or other sensitive information unless strictly necessary—and the current service does not request those items for analysis. For questions or requests concerning access, correction, or deletion of information, contact the address below. Some information may already have been automatically deleted, and limited transaction or legal records may need to be retained. Your rights may vary by location.
12. Children's Privacy
The service is intended for adults and is not intended for individuals under 18. YourResumeHelper does not knowingly solicit children's information. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so the situation can be reviewed.
13. Changes and Contact
